Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has nailed down the cast of its upcoming Off Broadway production of Jesse Eisenberg’s play “Asuncion,” with Justin Bartha among those set to join Eisenberg in the world preem.
Remy Auberjonois and Camille Mana also will star in the show, to be helmed by Kip Fagan (“There Are No More Big Secrets”).
Eisenberg’s comedy centers on two roommates (Eisenberg and Bartha) whose efforts to condemn racism are comedically tested when a young Filipina becomes their roommate.
Show will be the second Off Broadway outing for Bartha (“The Hangover” pics) this year, following his current gig in “All New People,” a play by another thesp-writer, Zach Braff.
“Asuncion” begins previews Oct. 12 prior to an opening set for Oct. 27 at the Cherry Lane Theater.
