Yonfan gained international recognition with pics including “Bishonen” (Beauty), which played in Panorama at the 1999 Berlin Film Festival, and “Prince of Tears,” which screened in competition at the 2009 Venice fest. Odagiri is best known for his roles in Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s “Bright Future” and Yoichi Sai’s “Blood and Bone.” He’s also starred in Korean pics, notably Kim Ki-duk’s “Dream” in 2008, and will appear in Kang Je-gyu’s upcoming war epic, “My Way.”

Pere led Cannes Directors’ Fortnight from 2004 to 2009, when he joined Locarno.

Oh’s “Come Rain, Come Shine” played in competition at the Berlinale this year. Upcoming projects include actioner “Countdown.”
