‘Wizard’ Sulkin leaps to ‘White Frog’

British thesp heads to Quentin Lee indie

British thesp Gregg Sulkin (“Wizards of Waverly Place”) has landed a lead role in the indie feature film “White Frog” for director Quentin Lee (“The People I’ve Slept With”).

Sulkin will play the son of a prominent lawyer who’s distraught after the death of his best friend.

The film will begin shooting next Thursday in Los Angeles and also stars Joan Chen, B.D. Wong and Margaret Cho. David Henry Hwang (“Madame Butterfly”) will executive produce.

Sulkin wrapped production on the final season of “Wizards of Waverly Place” earlier this year. He’s also starred in the feature “Camilla Dickinson” alongside Cary Elwes and Samantha Mathis.

He is repped by Danielle Del at D2 Management.
