Weisz to helm Safady’s ‘Dreamt’

Andrew Alexander pens supernatural thriller

Safady Entertainment (“Machine Gun Preacher”) is launching development of supernatural thriller “Dreamt” with Martin Weisz attached to direct.

Script by Andrew Alexander centers on two people dreaming in each other’s lives. Conflict ensues after the men discover each other’s existence, leading one to try to take over the other’s life.

Partners Gary Safady and Craig Chapman are producing along with Todd Moyer of the Flagship Management Group, who is currently producing the Brendan Fraser film “William Tell 3D.” Shooting is set to begin in April.

Weisz directed “The Hills Have Eyes II” and has shot more than 350 musicvideos for artists such as Puff Daddy, Korn, Live, Sisqo, Nickelback and Fuel. Alexander is represented by Original Artists. Weisz is represented by Anonymous Content and is owner of Weird Pictures.
