Warner Bros. is aiming at “Wild Guns,” preemptively acquiring T.S. Nowlin’s Western script for Hollywood Gang and Gianni Nunnari to produce.

“Wild Guns” is centered on Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday — best known for the 1881 gunfight at the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, Ariz. — attemping to free Sitting Bull’s kidnapped daughter from a shaman.

Matt Cherniss will oversee for the studio while John Ridley will oversee for Hollywood Gang.

Nowlin recently sold “Columbus” to Relativity with Virgin, Energy Entertainment and Wonderland producing and McG attached to direct. He’s also set a “Marco Polo” project with Endgame.
