UTA is set to move into new digs next year for the first time since the agency was formed in 1991.
The tenpercentery has inked a long-term lease to relocate its 350 employees in late 2012 to the 9336-9346 Civic Center Drive complex in Beverly Hills, which will be renamed UTA Plaza.
The agency has taken about 120,000 square feet in the complex that was once the worldwide headquarters for Hilton Hotels Corp.
UTA, now located on Wilshire Boulevard between Camden and Rodeo, will be the sole tenant of the 9336 building and will also be a primary tenant of the 9346 building. Developer Tishman Speyer acquired the BevHills property last year and is in the process of expanding and renovating the site.
UTA has retained architect and design firm Rottet Studio to build its new offices beginning early next year.
The percentery’s neighbors in the Civic Center Drive area will include numerous showbiz and media concerns, including Live Nation, YouTube, Netflix, AOL and Relativity Media.
