Ty Warren moves to Legendary

Studio expands production slate

Legendary Entertainment has tapped Ty Warren senior VP of production as the company expands its pic slate.

Warren, previously a Raleigh Films exec, will report to prexy of production William Fay.

Warren was the senior VP of production for Raleigh Films where he started Raleigh’s Production Services and formed strategic alliances in all Raleigh Studios locations including Budapest, Detroit, Atlanta and Baton Rouge, La.

He had the same title at DreamWorks, where he supervised the production of “Transformers,” “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” “Revolutionary Road,” “Dreamgirls” and “Sweeney Todd.” He also was production supervisor on “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” and “Gladiator” and started his career as a production exec at Alphaville Prods.

Warren’s filmed in 15 countries and serves on the Producers Guild of America Mentoring Committee.
