Gadon, McDowell, Smith join Cronenberg project

Sarah Gadon, Malcolm McDowell and Douglas Smith have joined the cast of the indie thriller “Antiviral.”

Pic already stars Caleb Landry Jones with Brandon Cronenberg on to helm from a script he penned.

Niv Fichman is producing through Rhombus Media.

Smith, repped by Paradigm and Medavoy Management, is best known for his work on HBO’s “Big Love.” Gadon, repped by WME, was most recently seen in Sony Classics’ “A Dangerous Method,” and Markham Froggatt and Irwin-repped McDowell was last seen in “The Artist.”
