Malcolm McDowell and Dean Cain have joined the cast of indie sci-fi thriller “Mind’s Eye,” set to shoot in Colorado in May and June under the Black Wing Digital banner.
Meryem Ersoz is producing. Script by Mark Daniels explores the collapse of space and time through the eyes of a high school violinist.
McDowell portrays an unpredictable orchestra director and Cain plays a science teacher who unravels the mysteries beneath a series of strange, inexplicable events.
Producers plan to shoot mostly in 2D but with a 3D component in a central scene.
McDowell is starring in TNT’s “Franklin & Bash,” expected to premiere in June.
