'The Collector' star joins Christopher Nolan's growing cast
“The Collector” star Josh Stewart is the last thesp to join the cast of Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises.”
In typical Nolan fashion, Stewart’s role is being kept under wraps. He joins Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis, Daniel Sunjata, Diego Klattenhoff and Burn Gorman as a newcomer to the superhero franchise. All of their castings were first reported by Variety.
Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures will release “The Dark Knight Rises” on July 20, 2012.
While Stewart previously appeared on the bigscreen in David Fincher’s “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” he’s best known for his small screen work as a series regular on NBC’s “Third Watch,” FX’s “Dirt” and most recently, on ABC’s “No Ordinary Family.” Thesp is currently filming a sequel to “The Collector” titled “The Collection,” and recently wrapped a feature adaptation of the ’60s TV series “The Big Valley.”
