‘Sun’ sets its cast

Sheil, Audley star in Seimetz's indie

Thesps Kate Lyn Sheil and Kentucker Audley have been tapped to star in writer-helmer Amy Seimetz’s road-trip indie “Sun Don’t Shine.”

Sheil (“Autoerotic,” “Silver Bullets”) and Audley (“Bad Fever”) appear as a couple on a mysterious Florida road trip. Cast also includes Kit Gwin, Mark Reeb and A.J. Bowen.

As a producer, Seimetz — also an actress whose credits includes “Tiny Furniture” and recent Sundance alum “The Off Hours” — produced a trio of films that bowed at SXSW this year: “Silver Bullets,” “No Matter What” and “The Dish and the Spoon.”

Adele Romanski (“The Myth of the American Sleepover”) and Kim Sherman produce “Sun Don’t Shine.” Pic targets a 2012 fest preem.
