Variety president Neil Stiles has been elected chairman of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles, the org announced following a Dec. 12 vote.
Outgoing chair and “American Idol” producer Nigel Lythgoe will occupy a fifth slot on the executive committee.
