London and L.A.-based Stealth Media Group has boarded Ash-Baron Cohen’s “The Blind Bastard Club,” which it will begin shopping to buyers at the AFM.
Pic, which begins shooting in Brazil on Feb. 20, is produced by Urca Filmes’ Leo Edde in association with Hacinda Films.
Edde previously worked as exec producer on Brazilian pic “Elite Squad 2.”
“Blind Bastard Club” follows a gang of guys and girls who live life on the edge despite being blind by going to the shooting range, jumping out of planes, getting into fights in bars and pretending they’re not blind.
Pic focuses on a love story between Jake, the leader of the gang, and Angel, a sighted callgirl who rollerblades around the city.
Casting is currently underway.
