Michael Caine starrer to be helmed by Sandra Nettlebeck
production companies Bavaria Pictures, Kaminski Stiehm Film and Senator Film will co-produce with Belgium-based Scope Pictures and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, in association with Elzevir Films of France. Sidney Kimmel will also produce. SKE is repping domestic distribution of “Last Love,” and foreign pre-sales are handled by Bavaria Film Intl. The film also stars Clemence Poesy, Justin Kirk, Jane Alexander, Anne Alvaro and Gillian Anderson. Set in Paris, “Last Love” centers on a retired, lonely American widower whose chance encounter with a free-spirited and young French woman brightens his life. SKE’s other production and co-financing deals include “One for the Money,” produced with Lakeshore Entertainment; “Gone,” produced with Lakeshore and Summit Entertainment; “Parker,” produced with Sierra/Affinity and Incentive Filmed Entertainment; “The Place Beyond the Pines”; and “I, Frankenstein,” produced with Lakeshore. Caine is repped by ICM.
