Milada Kolberg, Tobias Alexander Seiffert join group
Senator Entertainment has tapped a new acquisition team as part of an executive reshuffle.
Milada Kolberg is returning to Senator as senior VP and head of acquisitions and sales, reporting to CEO Helge Sasse and managing director Peter Heinzemann.
Kolberg, who begins Aug. 1, used to work at Senator before leaving in 2008 for Atlas Film and Media, where she was responsible for home entertainment and acquisitions.
Kolberg will be assisted by Tobias Alexander Seiffert, who will join the license acquisitions unit on July 1. Seiffert has worked for world sales outlets Summit Entertainment, Bavaria Film Intl and The Match Factory, as well as local distrib Kinowelt.
Solveig Fina, who handled acquisitions and TV sales for Senator, is moving into production as senior VP development, production and sales, supporting Sasse.
Fina, who has been with Senator since 2007, began her career at the San Francisco Film Festival and went on to work at Universum Film.
Senator’s slate includes Steven Silver’s South African drama “The Bang Bang Club,” starring Ryan Phillippe; Josh Appignanesi’s London-set comedy “The Infidel,” with comedian Omid Djalili; and John Wells’ “The Company Men,” starring Ben Affleck and Kevin Costner.
