San Francisco Fest honors Stamp

'Adjustment Bureau' thesp gets career nod

Terence Stamp will receive the Peter J. Owens award at the San Francisco Film Festival on Friday.

Award honors actors who exemplifies brilliance, independence and integrity in their work. Past recipients include Robert Duvall, Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman.

Stamp was most recently seen in Universal’s “The Adjustment Bureau.”

The fest opened April 21 and wraps May 5.
