Ruskin to receive SAG service kudo

Thesp will get Ralph Morgan Award at Sunday fete

Joe Ruskin will receive the Screen Actors Guild’s Ralph Morgan Award for service from the guild’s Hollywood Division.

Ruskin will be feted Sunday as part of the Annual Hollywood Division membership meeting at the Sportsmen’s Lodge.

The thesp has served as a guild trustee on the SAG-Industry Pension and Health Plan. Ruskin was first elected to the Hollywood Board of Directors in 1976, served multiple terms for more than 20 years and chairs the SAG Foundation’s John L. Dales Scholarship program.

Ruskin’s crdits date back to the 1950s on such TV shows as “The Naked City,” “Peter Gunn” and “Wanted: Dead or Alive.” Credits include “Mission: Impossible,” “Star Trek,” “The Untouchables,” “Get Smart, “The Man From U.N.C.L.E.,” “McCloud,” “Deep Space Nine,” “Bones,” “Alias” and “Star Trek: Enterprise.”
