Route One buys ‘Terminal D’ pitch

Brian Horiuchi thriller set in airport

Route One Films has purchased Brian Horiuchi’s original pitch “Terminal D.”

Story is described as an inventive, high-octane thriller set in an airport; details are under wraps.

Route One Films is comprised of partners Jay Stern, Russell Levine and Chip Diggins, as well as creative exec Megan Hughes. Company will produce the pic along with Naomi Despres (“Chapter 27”).

Horiuchi has several projects in development around town. He’s written “Oskur Fishman,” which Scarlett Johansson and Cotty Chubb are producing, as well as “Left for Dead,” which Jeff Wadlow (“Never Back Down”) is attached to direct and Craig Baumgarten will produce. In addition, Horiuchi is set to write and direct “Parts Per Billion,” which Rosario Dawson is attached to star in and produce with Chubb and Jennifer Levine.

Horiuchi is repped by Gersh, Untitled Entertainment and attorney Howard Abramson.
