Rhombus infuses ‘Antiviral’ thriller

Caleb Landry Jones to star; Brandon Cronenberg to helm

Rhombus Media has set up the thriller “Antiviral,” tapping Caleb Landry Jones to star.

Brandon Cronenberg, son of director David, is on board to direct from a script he penned.

Story revolves around a salesman (Jones) for a clinic that replicates celebrity diseases for public consumption. He becomes obsessed with a celebrity and injects himself with her disease, then must figure out how to cure it before time runs out.

Niv Fichman is producing through Rhombus Media.

Lensing will begin this month in Toronto.

After the thriller, Jones will jump into period pic “Byzantium” for Neil Jordan. He can next be seen in Universal/Working Title’s “Contraband.

Jones is repped by Paradigm, Untitled and Bloom Hergott Diemer Rosenthal Laviolette Feldman Schenkman & Goodman.
