Reel Suspects sets sales on ‘Club,’ ‘Q’

French shingle inks pacts on pics

EXCLUSIVE: French sales company Reel Suspects has inked more pacts on Laurent Bouhnik’s erotic comedy “Q,” and David Verbeek’s “Club Zeus.”

“Club Zeus,” which won the Rotterdam’s Return of the Tiger nod, was picked up by Italy’s Atlantide, while “Q” was nabbed by Accent (Australia and New Zealand), Kafilms (Latin America), Cineplex (Taiwan), First Distributors (Hong Kong and Macao) and Sweden (Njuta films).

At Cannes, Reel Suspects’ prexy Matteo Lovadina started sales on U.S. titles, Lee Madsen’s “Happy in the Valley” and Lee Madsen’s “Hated.”

Reel Suspects’ slate also includes Lithuanian rookie Saulius Drunga’s “Anarchy in Zirmunai,” Dutch erotic drama “Meat,” directed by Maartje Seyferth and Victor Nieuwenhuis, and Koen Mortier’s thriller “22nd of May.”
