Film editor worked on TV series

Film editor Ralph Schoenfeld died May 27 in Los Angeles due to complications from a brain tumor. He was 86.

The Brooklyn-born Schoenfeld attended UCLA and worked as an editor for more than thirty years.

Credits include “The Beverly Hillbillies,” “Lassie,” “The Six Million Dollar Man” and “Hart to Hart.”

Schoenfeld was an active member of the American Cinema Editors Guild.

Survivors include his wife, Valerie; a son and a daughter; a granddaughter; and his brother.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills in the Old North Chapel at 2:30 p.m. A reception will follow immediately after the services at the home of Leslie and Bob Avery, 4642 Forman Ave., Toluca Lake.
