Participant Media has promoted Lindsay Guetschow to a newly created post as senior director of marketing and strategic alliances.
Participant exec VPs of marketing Buffy Shutt and Kathy Jones announced the promotion Thursday.
Guetschow served as Participant’s campaign outreach director on “Waiting for Superman.” She’s responsible for developing and managing strategic alliances for “cause marketing campaigns” and works with Participant’s Social Action and TakePart teams to conceive programs for partner affiliation, funding opportunities and community building.
Participant noted that in 2009, Guetschow helped open public-art project Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet, Los Angeles. Before joining Cool Globes, she served as the director of outreach for StopGlobalWarming.org.
