Par Int’l VP Chris Hedges exiting

Ian George will replace him at year's end

Chris Hedges, a 35-year employee of Paramount Pictures who rose to become the international division’s VP and managing director, is stepping down, the studio announced Tuesday.

He’ll be replaced by Ian George, previously Paramount Pictures International’s EVP of international marketing.

“We are grateful to Chris for the tremendous contributions he made during his career at both Paramount and UIP,” said studio vice chairman Rob Moore.

Hedges will stay in his position through year’s end, and George will report to Anthony Marcoly, recently hired as Paramount International prexy.
