Thesps talk 'Tanner Hall'

Bad behavior is a theme in Anchor Bay Films’ “Tanner Hall,” and cast and creatives revealed that they, too, were no strangers to acting out in high schooler fashion.

“One time I got everybody in the classroom to wear a mask of the teacher, you know a Xerox copy of his face. And that didn’t work out well,” Chris Kattan said Tuesday at the Vista Theater.

Tatiana von Furstenberg and Francesca Gregorini share director-scribe credits on the pic, and even they got into the school spirit. Regarding the pic’s release, Gregorini said, “It’s the perfect timing. It’s September. It’s back to school.”

Von Furstenberg, for her part, isn’t ready to go back to school or work. “I know that for the next two weeks I’m going to be sewing hotwater-bottle cozies, soft-boiled egg cozies and starting to make my Christmas presents because I have to settle down,” she offered.
