Ola Rapace will play Bosse Hogberg, a European boxing champ.
Peter Birro penned the script for the film, whose title may still change.
Paradox Entertainment, which is behind the reboot of “Conan the Barbarian” that Lionsgate is distributing Aug. 19, is producing with Hepp Film.
Fredrik Malmberg, CEO and prexy of Paradox, will serve as producer, with shingle’s Gudrun Giddings executive producing.
Helena Danielsson will produce through Hepp.
“Catherine is a great asset to the project with an ability to make this action-drama about the well-known affair, in Sweden, between Bosse and Anita into something relevant and exciting also for an international audience,” Malmberg said.
