‘No cops’ assembles team

IPE sets its first fully produced project

Inner Primary Entertainment has set up its first fully produced project in “No Cops with Wedding Rings,” with Korean star Ha Jeong-woo (aka Jung-woo Ha) toplining.

Written by Clay Ayers, pic is slated for a January shoot in the U.S., with Christopher Eberts (“Lord of War,” “Lucky Number Sleven”), IPE’s Deborah Moore and Terapix producing.

Ha Jeong-woo, a consistent box-office draw in Korea since the critically acclaimed “The Chaser” in 2008, is making his Hollywood debut.

Korean director Bonn Kim (“Babies for Sale”) will helm “Wedding Rings,” described by Eberts as “an existential modern-day Butch & Sundance, centered on two bank robbers who share a hyper-awareness of their fleeting mortality.”
