Nick Frost is final ‘Huntsman’ dwarf

'Paul' star rounds out Universal's cast of dwarves

EXCLUSIVE: And then there were seven: Nick Frost is in final negotiations to take the last remaining dwarf role in Universal’s “Snow White and the Huntsman.”

Frost, most recently seen in the Universal laffer “Paul,” joins fellow dwarfs Ian McShane, Toby Jones, Bob Hoskins, Eddie Marsan, Stephen Graham and Ray Winstone (U chose to cast regular-sized actors that it will shrink in post-production).

Rupert Sanders will direct with Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron on board to star. In this version of Snow White, the huntsman sent to kill the girl becomes her mentor and protector instead. Joe Roth and Palak Patel are producing through Roth Films. Evan Daugherty wrote the script with Hossein Amini doing the most recent script polish.

Universal had no comment on Frost joining the cast. He can be seen next in the Screen Gems pic “Attack the Block.”

He is repped by UTA, Hamilton Hodell and The Safran Company.
