Cabler renews series for third season

Nickelodeon has renewed ”T.U.F.F. Puppy” for a third season of 20 episodes.

Starring Jerry Trainor (”iCarly”)’ ”Puppy” trails only ”SpongeBob SquarePants” in overall viewers on television among kids 2-11, averaging 3.6 million since December.

The series is about to launch internationally, starting with Nickeloon Australia.

”Puppy” is exec produced by Butch Hartman, who with ”The Fairly OddParents” and ”Danny Phantom” has an unprecedented three hits with Nick.
