New CBS Films roles for Batista, DeVall

CBS Films has named Christine Batista as senior VP of national partnerships and publicity.

President and CEO Amy Baer made the announcement Tuesday. Batista will be responsible for national and field publicity operations as well as promotions, product integrations and national partnerships.

CBS Films also tapped Eddie DeVall as VP, national partnerships and promotions.

Batista has spent two years at MGM on marketing and partnerships on “Hot Tub Time Machine” and “Zookeeper.” She also worked on a LG Mobile partnership on “Fame” and product integration with Subway Restaurants in “Red Dawn.”

DeVall worked with Batista at MGM, handling media promotions and national partnerships on titles including “Rocky Balboa” and “Fame.”

The duo is working on “Gambit,” “American Assassin,” “The Woman in Black” and “Legend.”
