Mulroney, Sorvino to star in ‘Innocents’

Christopher Bessette's indie drama about sex slave trade

Dermot Mulroney and Mira Sorvino will topline indie drama “Trade of Innocents,” produced by Jim Schmidt.

Christopher Bessette is directing from his own script, which centers on a couple grieving the loss of their daughter who set out to rescue young girls sold into the sex-slave trade.

Bill Bolthouse, Laurie Bolthouse and Dave Ross with Dean River Prods. are exec producing.

Project will shoot in Southeast Asia in March and April.

Mulroney and Sorvino are repped by ICM.
