Companies close multiyear financing deal

Indie digital distrib Might Entertainment has closed a multiyear financing pact with Rilean Pictures.

Deal enables Might to acquire independent films pegged for digital distribution platforms, including video-on-demand and digital streaming, and spend more aggressively on P&A campaigns. Rilean Pictures is an L.A.-based finance and production company.

Might currently has an output deal with Lionsgate to distribute independent films via digital platforms, including the Swedish-lingo “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” and its sequels, as well as Ben Steinbauer’s docu “Winnebago Man.”

Might-Rilean deal was brokered by Might’s Andy Bohn and Jason Beck and Juan Iglesias and Jonathan Saba on behalf of Rilean Pictures.
