'Lovely Bones' thesp to star in Mullen and Kiley indie

Rose McIver has landed the female lead in the indie “Light Years,” which also stars Chris Lowell.

Maggie Kiley will helm from a scrip she penned with Matthew Mullen. Pic, based on Kiley’s short film “Some Boys Don’t Leave,” follows a listless guy who gets dumped by his girlfriend — the catalyst to getting his life back in order.

Jason Potash, Gina Resnick, Kyle Heller, Christine Holder, and Paul Finkel are also on to produce along with Mullen and Kiley.

Past credits for McIver, repped by WME, Magnolia Entertainment and Johnson and Laird Management, include “The Lovely Bones” and “Predicament.”
