'Mad Men' thesp will play love interest of Jackson Rathbone
The thesp stars in MTV’s new fall series “Death Valley” and has a recurring role on AMC’s “Mad Men.” She’s set to play a young attorney who works with Rathbone’s character at the same firm and becomes his love interest.
Michael Kristoff is directing film with a script he co-wrote with Jack Homes. Producers include Alex Candia, Adam Gibbs and Roger Pugliese with Kevin Mann, Matthew Perniciaro of Picture Machine exec producing. Lockwood Pictures is producing and finance the film, on which shooting started earlier this month.
“Foxes” centers around Rathbone’s character — who is miserable at his corporate law job — and finds himself spontaneously singing at a rundown, intimate, old-school cocktail lounge known as The Foxes Den and becomes so intrigued with life at Foxes Den that he eventually quits the firm. Also cast tin the film are Joceline Donahue, Jack Holmes, Elliot Gould, Pooch Hall, Carly Craig and Mark Famiglietti.
