Robertson, O'Brien to star in Castle Rock romance
Britt Robertson and Dylan O’Brien are set to star in Castle Rock’s teen romancer “The First Time.”
Jon Kasdan will direct from his own screenplay, which follows two high school students over the first weekend of a blossoming relationship.
Liz Glotzer and Martin Shafer will produce for Castle Rock, while Liah Kim will exec produce. Production is scheduled to begin in April.
Castle Rock released Kasdan’s directorial debut, Kristen Stewart starrer “In the Land of Women,” in 2007.
Robertson (“Dan in Real Life”) will next be seen in Wes Craven’s “Scream 4” and is set to reunite with that film’s screenwriter, Kevin Williamson, for the CW pilot “Secret Circle,” which Williamson is exec producing.
O’Brien recently wrapped Matt Walsh’s pot comedy “High Road” and will soon be seen as one of the leads on MTV’s “Teen Wolf.”
O’Brien is repped by WME and Management 360, while Robertson is repped by Innovative Artists and Levine Okwu Erickson.
