Producer's credits include 'The Tudors,' 'Braveheart'

DUBLIN — Irish producer Morgan O’Sullivan will receive the award for outstanding contribution to industry at the Irish Film and TV Awards, in honor of his track record of bringing major Hollywood projects to shoot in Ireland.

O’Sullivan most recently acted as the producer of Showtime’s “The Tudors.” His other credits as a producer, co-producer or executive producer include “Braveheart,” “King Arthur,” “Angela’s Ashes,” “Ella Enchanted,” “PS I Love You” and the TV series “Camelot.”

“Without his vision, ambition, spirit and determination to succeed, the Irish film industry simply would not exist as it does today,” said Aine Moriarty, chief executive of the IFTAs.

The IFTA ceremony takes place Feb. 12 at Dublin’s Convention Center.
