IFC Films has snagged North American rights to “Love, Wedding, Marriage,” the romantic comedy helmed by Dermot Mulroney.
Kellan Lutz, Mandy Moore, James Brolin, Jane Seymour and Jessica Szohr star in the pic, about a newlywed marriage counselor (Moore) who tries to prevent the 30-year marriage of her parents from ending in divorce.
Distribution deal was negotiated by IFC’s Arianna Bocco and Lizzie Nastro with ICM, which also reps Mulroney, Brolin and Szohr.
“Love” is Mulroney’s directorial debut.
His upcoming gigs include “Everybody Loves Whales” with Drew Barrymore and “The Grey” with Liam Neeson.
Feature, penned by Anouska Chydzik Bryson and Caprice Crane, is the first produced by Michelle Chydzik Sowa (“The Wedding Date”) under new banner Chydzik Media Group, which financed the New Orleans-shot film with Voodoo Pictures.
No release sked has yet been set. IFC Films, a sister division of Sundance Selects and IFC Midnight, works on a distribution model that incorporates theatrical runs and cable VOD.
