Lawrence and Shue star in pic slated for 2012

Adding its first release to next year’s first-quarter corridor, Relativity Media has dated Mark Tonderai’s thriller “House at the End of the Street” for a Feb. 3 release.

Move bolsters Relativity’s efforts at becoming a major distrib partner for mid-range nationwide releases.

“House,” which stars Jennifer Lawrence, Elisabeth Shue and Max Theroit, tells the story of a mother and daughter who move next door to a house where a double homicide took place. Pic, penned by David Loucka and produced by FilmNation Entertainment’s Aaron Ryder, A Bigger Boat’s Peter Block and Hal Lieberman, is aimed at fulfilling Relativity’s general audience release mandate.

FilmNation will handle overseas distribution.

Up next for Relativity is the June 10 Stateside release, “Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer,” followed by 3D title “Shark Night” on Sept. 2 and Henry Cavill starrer “Immortals” on Nov. 11.

Relativity is about to begin production on its untitled “Snow White” treatment, toplining Lily Collins, Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer.
