‘Holmes’ scribe tapped for ‘Twilight Zone’ rewrite

Peckham to tune up tentpole script for Warner Bros., Appian Way

Invictus” and “Sherlock Holmes” scribe Tony Peckham is in final negotiations to rewrite “The Twilight Zone” for Warner Bros. and Appian Way.

Matt Reeves is set to direct from a script originally penned by Jason Rothenberg.

Warner Bros. is targeting the pic as a tentpole, and unlike the 1983 feature that had four separate storylines, this pic will have one story with elements from the “Twilight Zone” universe.

Leonardo DiCaprio will produce through Appian Way along with his partner Jennifer Davisson Killoran and Michael Ireland.

Peckham has been in the studio’s good graces as of late penning scripts such as “Sherlock Holmes,” “Invictus” and “The Book of Eli” for WB and is also currently working on Yucatan for the studio and Team Downey.

He is repped by WME and Annoymous Content.
