‘Garden’ of delayed delights

Four years after wrapping production, “Fireflies in the Garden” star Julia Roberts and director Dennis Lee finally walked the red carpet Oct. 12 at the Grove to celebrate the indie drama’s long-delayed release.

“It’s been tough, but I think it’s an educational challenge in the end,” said Roberts, who joined “Fireflies” after her husband, d.p. Danny Moder, was already set to shoot the pic. “We’re here now, so I can say I’m glad we went through what we went through, and for my career and the way it’s gone, it makes you appreciate not taking things for granted.”
