Exec upped to theatrical marketing director

BERLIN — Twentieth Century Fox has upped Chris Green to theatrical marketing director, based in London.

Green, who was promoted internally from his previous role as marketing controller, a post he held for three years, will report to Cameron Saunders, m.d. of Fox’s U.K. theatrical division.

In the role, Green will develop marketing campaigns for the U.K. release of all of Fox’s theatrical product, which in the first half of this year includes animation “Rio,” Matthew Vaughn’s “X-Men: First Class” and Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon starrer “Water for Elephants.”

Green takes over from Saunders, who was marketing director until becoming m.d. in December last year.
