Ellen Rapoport to pen rom-com adaptation of Adena Halpern novel
EXCLUSIVE: Twentieth Century Fox has tapped scribe Ellen Rapoport to pen the feature film adaptation of Adena Halpern’s tome “29: A Novel.”
John Davis will produce the pic with exec Lauren Levy overseeing the project for the studio. Fox has not yet set a director.
The romantic comedy centers on a 75-year-old woman whose wish to be 29 again comes true. Studio acquired the book, published in June 2010, last August.
Rapoport’s writing credits include TV’s “The Jamie Kennedy Experiment” and “Three Moons Over Milford.” She’s also attached to Universal’s “Desperados.”
Scribe is repped by CAA.
