Focus’ Kahli Small to GK Films

Joins as exec VP of production

Focus Features exec Kahli Small has joined Graham King’s GK Films as exec VP of production and development.

Based out of the company’s Santa Monica office, she’ll report directly to King.

Small has spent the last seven years at Focus and was most recently exec VP of production and development. She supervised “Milk,” “Eastern Promises” and “The American.”

“Her reputation in the industry and track record for success are exactly the qualities that we are looking for in our executives as we expand our company,” King said.

Prior to joining Focus, Small was an independent producer, head of production at Key Entertainment and a production exec at MGM.

GK Films most recently produced “Rango” and is currently in post-production on “Hugo Cabret,” “London Boulevard” and “The Rum Diary.”
