Pic also stars Anthony LaPaglia, Sam Neill, Sebastian Stan

Vera Farmiga and Mia Wasikowska will join Anthony LaPaglia in “A View From the Bridge,” a feature adaptation based on Arthur Miller’s 1955 play of the same name.

Sam Neill and newcomer Sebastian Stan (“Black Swan”) also topline the pic, which is helmed by Robert Connolly and penned by “Edge of Darkness” scribe Andrew Bovell.

LaPaglia will also produce the pic with Marion Pilowsky and Natalie Stevenson.

He secured film rights and Miller’s approval after starring in the 1998 Broadway production for which he won a Tony Award for the role of Eddie Carbone.

LaPaglia will reprise the role in the 1950s Brooklyn-set pic, while Farmiga plays his wife, Beatrice, and Wasikowska plays their niece Catherine, whom they have raised since childhood.

“A View From the Bridge” is skedded to lense in June in Melbourne and New York.

Funding for the pic, which Protagonist will shop to buyers at the European Film Market during the Berlinale next month, comes from the Australian Producers Offset Fund and Film Victoria.
