Eric Benet to topline ‘Trinity Goodheart’

Film is first lead role for R&B crooner

R&B crooner Eric Benet will make his lead acting debut in “Trinity Goodheart,” written by Rhonda Freeman-Baraka.

Pic is produced by Rick Eldridge’s ReelWorks Studios. Cinematographer Joanne Hock will direct.

Film centers on a 12-year-old girl, played by Erica Gluck, on a mission to reunite her disjointed family.

Pic will preem at the Black American Film Fest in July before receiving a limited theatrical run.

Family entertainment net GMC TV has acquired all broadcast rights.

Eldridge’s credits include “The Ultimate Gift” and Matt Damon-narrated docu “Running the Sahara.”
