CMG nabs int’l sales rights to ‘Buck’

Pic won Sundance Audience Award for best docu

Cinema Management Group’s acquired international sales rights to “Buck,” which won the Sundance Audience Award recipient for Best Documentary Feature.

Pic follows Buck Brannaman, who inspired the novel and the film “The Horse Whisperer,” from his painful childhood to his work as a horse trainer.

“Buck” was directed by Cindy Meehl who filmed over 300 hours of Brannaman traveling to various locations throughout the United States while conducting his horse training clinics. Feature was produced by Julie Goldman (“Sergio”)

CMG will be selling the film at the Berlin Intl. Film, Festival.
