Thesps Sylvie Testud, Niels Arestrup (“The Big Picture”) and Michael Gambon are in advanced negotiations to star. Lensing will start in mid-August. Chic Films is also onboard to produce ”Bananas,” (working title) from popular Israeli helmer Eytan Fox (“The Bubble”). The $4 million French-Israeli co-production will start lensing in August in Tel Aviv and Paris. Paris-based outfit Ad Vitam will release “Bananas” in Spring 2012, while Films Distribution will handle international sales.
