CBS Films boards ‘Flight 75’

Takashi Shimizu to helm thriller

CBS Films is getting on board ”Flight 75” and has set Takashi Shimizu (”The Grudge”) to direct the claustrophobic thriller.

Project’s based on a pitch from Shimizu and set on a transpacific airliner where the passengers encounter what seems to be a supernatural force.

Taka Ichise (”The Grudge,” ”Shutter”), Roy Lee (”The Ring,” ”The Departed”) and Steven Schneider (”Paranormal Activity,” ”Insidious”) are producing. John Middleton is exec producing.

CBS Films is aiming ”Flight 75” for a late summer/early fall start of production.

Maria Faillace is overseeing for CBS Films.
