'Cat Run' kills at premiere

“A committee of teenage boys” helped get a movie made, according to “Cat Run” director John Stockwell and producer Bill Perkins at the Paladin pic’s preem March 29 at the Arclight in Hollywood.

“We had to take it back a little bit. We killed like 15 people, they can’t handle that!,” Perkins said adding proudly, “I felt like the audience reacted well, I got them with the nose clip, I got them with them with the head explosion, and I got them with the jumping out the window.”

“I think it is a lot for American audiences to take,” said pic’s star Paz Vega, “a lot of violence, but they’re releasing a different version in Europe.”
