Bibb, Kwanten, Smart board ‘7500’

'The Grudge' helmer Shimizu to direct CBS Films thriller

CBS Films has signed Leslie Bibb, Ryan Kwanten and Amy Smart for ”7500,” its thriller directed by Takashi Shimizu (”The Grudge”).

The film concerns a group of passengers who encounter what appears to be a supernatural force while on a transpacific flight.

Script is written by Craig Rosenberg.

”7500” reteams Shimizu with ”Grudge” producer Taka Ichise who will produce alongside Roy Lee. John Middleton and Tracy McGrath are serving as executive producers.

Kwanten and Smart will co-star as married couple who board Vista Pacific Flight 7500 with their two longtime friends for a trip to Japan. Bibb is set to play a flight attendant involved in a complicated and secret relationship.

Smart is represented by Gersh. Kwanten is represented by CAA and managed by Orly Adelson. Bibb is represented by ICM.

Senior Vice President of Production Maria Faillace and Creative Executive Ryan Conroy are overseeing the project for CBS Films.
