The 11-year-old thesp stars opposite James Cromwell in 'Sweethearts n' Angels'
Kid thesp Bailee Madison (“Just Go With It”) has landed a lead opposite James Cromwell in rodeo-themed pic “Sweethearts n’ Angels,” which begins filming next month in Oklahoma.
The 11-year-old Madison, who played Jennifer Aniston’s daughter in the February rom-com, will also star opposite Katie Holmes this summer in “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark,” the horror remake written and produced by Guillermo del Toro for FilmDistrict.
“Sweethearts n’ Angels” will be a turn toward lighter fare for the “Bridge to Terabithia” and “Wizards of Waverly Place” actress who has found herself in darker projects on both the bigscreen (“Conviction”) and small (“Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “The Haunting Hour: The Series”).
In “Angels,” Madison plays Ida Clayton, the strong-willed girl who’s recruited into a young female trick-riding rodeo group. Timothy Armstrong directs and Ben Feingold is producing.
Madison is repped by Coast to Coast Talent Group.
